Louisiana's coast will receiving largest single-year funding in state history
Late this January, the State released their largest Coastal Annual Plan ever, outlining nearly $1.3 billion dollars of spending over a one-year period for protection and restoration projects across the coast.
Louisiana’s Coast and Communities Will Benefit from SHORRE Act Provisions
Sens. Tom Carper (D-DE) and Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), and Reps. Garret Graves (R-LA) and Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-DE) introduced the Shoreline Health Oversight, Restoration, Resilience, and Enhancement (SHORRE Act), a bipartisan bill to address coastal and riverine impacts of climate change in the United States.
